LIEU ONLINE MAGAZINE

I have been dreaming of putting up an online magazine for Davao. For my fellow creative youth to have a special place to grow as artists and individuals through the help of each other. At first, I thought it was impossible. But no, I decided to make my dreams come true because I knew that it will not only benefit me but also other young creatives and artists.

It wasn't easy at all. To make an online magazine is like having a baby. It was like sending a baby to kindergarten and planning his college at the same time. This baby had been giving us a lot of sleepless nights, but when we saw everything we forgot about the stress and concentrated more on happiness. All our efforts have paid, and any amount of money could not put up to our happiness.

I proudly present LIEU Online Magazine. I am the creative director of the magazine, but it isn't my magazine. It's the magazine of my fellow young creatives who are as passionate as I am. With the help of Davao's best writers, photographers, artists and mentors, our senior editorial consultants, Ate Tin, Ate Jad, and Ate Cheekie (HIPHOUSE core group), we have put up our maiden issue and I hope you'll support LIEU like you have supported our little achievements.
